About This Workshop:

In the first half of this workshop, Daniel's lecture will dive deeply into the concept of de-mystifying failure in order to protect your creativity, as well as how to laser-focus your intent and discover your brand. Preparing a plan that starts with a 90-day journey of self-discovery is key, and Daniel will walk you through the steps of how to discover your vocal archetypes and make it work for you in an ever changing market. In the second half, you'll test your skills on the mic and receive feedback to enhance your skills when auditioning, followed by a Q&A- be sure to prepare some questions! His honest approach to coaching and years of experience in the field will help guide you on your path to Voiceover success!

About Your Instructor:

Daniel Ross is one of the newest in-demand Voice Artists working in the business today. Originally a theatre and film actor/producer from Maryland, he moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to begin pursuing work in the Voice Over industry. Since then, his voice has been featured on almost every network including Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, WB, and Amazon.  Most notably, he is the voice of Donald Duck in the smash hit series “Mickey and the Roadster Racers”, “Mickey Mouse: Mixed-Up Adventures, on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. He was also featured as the lead-villain Starscream in 2007’s “Transformers: The Game” by Activision selling over 3.6 million copies worldwide, and has voiced the lovable Lucky from the “Lucky Charms Cereal” commercials!  You can also hear him in the shows “Bunsen is a Beast”, “The Loud House”, “The Adventures of Kid Danger” on Nickelodeon; “We Bare Bears” on Cartoon Network; “The Tom and Jerry Show” as the lovable mouse Rutger, and most recently can be heard in the Oscar Winning juggernaut, “Joker”! Winner of the coveted 2020 Voice Arts Award for “Outstanding Body of Work- Best Voice Actor”.

Class is limited to 12 students. 18 and over. Cameras are mandatory for class intro.

*** This online workshop will be hosted and recorded in Zoom. Everyone will receive a link to download the video of the workshop the following day. If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video. Due to limited seats available, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event. Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to another workshop. Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the start time/ date of the workshop, payment will be forfeited.
