• Do I need any previous experience?

  • No. We welcome all levels to all of our classes unless it states otherwise....which is rare.

  • Most of our classes are full with people that would be considered beginner, or beginner/ intermediate. 

  • The only exception to this might be our Guest Director Workshop series. These are not really meant to be your very first class.

• Do I need any special equipment to join the online classes?

  • No. In fact, we encourage you to join one of our intro classes and get some advice about what to buy first. That way you don't buy something that might not serve you well down the road. ​​

• Which class to do you recommend for someone just starting out?​

  • ​There are a few things that might interest you as a beginner. One is our Intro to Voiceover Intensive. In this class we cover crucial home recording basics, important industry topics like how to find work, agents, demos, etc, as well as get you reading scripts and taking direction. Another is our Commercial Bootcamp. This is a deep dive into the acting side of voice acting for commercials and is a great primer for all things voice acting. Finally we have our Characters for Gaming & Animation class. Just like the Commercial Bootcamp, we focus mostly on acting for animation and video games, but also add in a bit about how to navigate those industries.

• What happens when I sign up for a class?​​

  • ​Everyone that signs up for a class will receive both an automated confirmation email immediately after your purchase, as well as an automated reminder email 24 hours before the event.

  • Every now and then these find their way to your spam, junk, or promotions folder. Please check there :)

  • If you can't find the emails, they were either deleted by accident, or there was a typo in your email when signing up, but not to worry! Just email us at info@realvoicela.com with your full name, and the date and name of the class you're signed up for. ​​

• A class is sold out. Can I get on the waitlist?

  • Yes. Just email us at info@realvoicela.com

  • Let us know the name and date of the class and we'll be happy to help

• What is the cancellation policy for classes?

  • If for any reason you can not make the date/ time you will still be able to view the entire workshop with the recorded video.

  • Due to limited seats, payment is only refundable up to 72 hours before the event.

  • Up to 48 hours before the event payment is nonrefundable, but may be rolled over to the next date of the same class, or another currently scheduled class.

  • Any cancellation less than 48 hours before the event, payment will be forteited.​
